The GIGANT orangery for the DOMU DOMA association is located in Sēja Parish. The JARDI team has implemented an ambitious and multifunctional project – one of the largest professional line orangeries from the Belgian manufacturer Janssens, GIGANT, measuring 6 × 10 meters, has been installed. This orangery is intended for various events organized by the association, including seminars, workshops, creative studios, and community gatherings.
The chosen structure is an aluminum glass greenhouse, distinguished by its high quality, stability, and extensive customization options. The aluminum frame ensures durability and minimal maintenance requirements, while the glazing creates a bright, open space, particularly suitable for work and events throughout the seasons. The orangery is installed on a concrete base, providing a secure foundation for intensive use.
In order to use the orangery even in cooler weather, a heating stove has been installed. Because of this solution, one glass section has been replaced with an aluminum panel to accommodate the chimney, maintaining the structure’s safety and functional integrity.
The interior of the orangery is particularly exquisite – its arrangement is the masterpiece of the association’s hostess, giving the space a personal, warm, and inspiring atmosphere. This project perfectly demonstrates how a professional aluminum glass greenhouse-orangery can become an important public space where knowledge, creativity, and community come together.
