How does it work?
The self-watering flower box Berberis L consists of two parts – a water reservoir and an inner container for the soil, in the optimum ratio of 2:1. The outer water reservoir protects the roots from overheating, while the holes and air exchange slots in the inner pot, as well as the fabric strips that absorb water and supply the root system with the right level of moisture, provide the plants with the right amount of water in a complex way. A water level indicator warns of too high or too low water levels.
If you keep the pot in the garden, make sure the overflow stopper is open so that any excess water is diverted away on rainy days. Fabric straps will make it easy to remove the inner pot, but handles and castors will make it easier to move.
