Kalve Coffee café in the MASTER orangery is one of those JARDI projects that stands out vividly both in concept and execution. This project proves that a Janssens aluminum glass greenhouse can serve not only for gardening but also become a unique cultural and experiential space in an urban environment.
The JARDI team carried out the full installation of the Janssens MASTER orangery, adapting it as a modern and visually striking pop-up café in Riga, near the Museum Reserve. The orangery became an integral part of the fashion brand FYODOR GOLAN’s retrospective exhibition “Harmony of Collisions”. This event placing offered visitors the opportunity to enjoy high-quality coffee in a special, aesthetically rich setting.
This MASTER orangery, measuring 310 × 458 cm, was chosen for its clean architecture, lightweight structure, and high light transmission. The aluminum frame combined with glass panels created an open and bright space that organically blended into the surrounding urban environment and the exhibition concept.
The Kalve Coffee pop-up project is a great example of how an aluminum glass greenhouse can be transformed into a multifunctional space that combines design, culture, and a high-quality experience.
The orangery is equipped with the following additional features:
- double sliding doors,
- additional doors in the end wall for ventilation,
- low thresholds,
- three roof windows,
- Louvre wall window,
- shading curtains.
