Installation of carpet lawn in Mārupe is a story about a truly special garden. The new owners took over a property with a rich, yet noticeably old history – a garden that had not been purposefully maintained for a long time. Even in the first landscaping tasks, layer by layer, long-overgrown flowerbed edges, previously popular decorative stones in the beds, and a wide but chaotic assortment of plants were revealed. The true potential of the garden gradually became apparent, starting with pruning, shaping, and restoring the larger shrubs and trees.
Afterwards, the garden went through an extended home renovation process, at the end of which the JARDI team carried out an extensive garden reconstruction based on a well-thought-out garden design and sustainable landscaping principles. The goal was to preserve the valuable elements while creating a neat, functional, and visually harmonious environment.
During the reconstruction, the following was carried out:
- selective removal of old plantings and transplanting of plants;
- grooming of the remaining plantings with restorative pruning and precise shaping;
- creation of flower beds by laying agrotextile and mulch;
- development of design projects for new decorative flower beds;
- soil replacement in the planned flower bed areas.
Special attention was given to the lawn area. The existing sod layer was removed, high-quality fresh topsoil was brought in, and professional turf laying was carried out. This solution allowed for the rapid establishment of a dense, even, and aesthetically pleasing lawn, which became a stable foundation for the entire garden design.
As a result, the garden gained a clear structure, new vitality, and sustainable visual quality, demonstrating that professional landscaping and high-quality turf installation can completely transform the environment.
