HELIOS GREENHOUSE WITH ENGLISH STYLE GLASSES
In Zvejniekciems, the JARDI team has completed another high-quality and well-thought-out project. The HELIOS greenhouse with English-style glasses by the Belgian manufacturer, will serve as a fully functional greenhouse for cultivation. The dimensions of this aluminum and glass greenhouse are 3.84 × 8.26 meters. It stands out with narrow English or Victorian-style panes, giving the structure an elegant, classic character.
The width of a single glass section is only 37 cm, compared to the standard 74 cm. Doubling the number of profiles on the orangery’s side walls. This solution not only enhances the visual charm of the Victorian style but also provides greater structural stability and durability. That is a crucial aspect when choosing a greenhouse for long-term use, wright?
This orangery is specially adapted for intensive cultivation. Greenhouse crops are grown in raised beds, which the owner has made from galvanized metal, creating an industrially aesthetic and practical environment. Inside, two partitions have been built, which will be equipped with work surfaces and tool shelves. Shelves providing a convenient and functional work area for everyday gardening tasks.
To be able to start cultivation early in the spring and continue until late autumn, two infrared wall lamps are installed in the aluminum glass greenhouse, providing additional warmth on cooler days. The irrigation system is based on sustainable solutions – two are connected to the greenhouse gutters. Rainwater barrels are attached to the greenhouse drains, from which water is supplied to the plants by two solar irrigation system. Also, the greenhouse is equipped with a shading system, eight automatic skylights and four Louvre wall windows, double sliding doors with a low threshold.
